A group of students at UWinnipeg have taken to air with a weekly show on student politics among other things. You can download the episodes and listen to them on their site: http://fishbowlshow.wordpress.com/
Additional: I have now listened to the first two shows. Found it interesting how the UWSA President did not actually answer the question about media at the CFS Conference. It did talk about the smaller "constituency" groups and how they feel they need privacy. I do not know of anyone in the media that does not agree provided that these groups are only discussions and not deciding policy or how to spend student money. This whole "some oppressed student is going to be bothered by the media" is a red herring.
Episode two, good interview with the University of Winnipeg President Lloyd Axworthy. I wish I had listened on Wednesday, really good information was broadcast by this show.
